Bruno is a silly looking little Chiweenie type dog. He had left us as a puppy but unfortunately his family fell on hard times and he ended up back with us. and is looking for another home.
House Manners: At the adoption center he has a indoor outdoor run with a doggie door and does well with keeping his inside space clean. In a home environment he should be kenneled unsupervised and needs a consistent schedule.
Basic Training: Needs leash work and to learn basic commands
Other Dogs: Cricket was raised around a shih tzu type dog
Cats: Unknown, will evaluate soon
Kids: Previous adopter says he does well with well mannered children
Fencing: He has not had escape tendencies in his home but at a new home it is best to inspect the yard for small holes a dog can escape out of.
The adoption fee is $150.This dog has had its age appropriate Vaccinations brought up to date with Rabies shot (4 m & older), heartworm tested (4 m & older) and/or started on prevention, basic dewormer, spayed or neutered and microchipped by 24Petwatch with free registration , and also comes with 30 days of free 24Petwatch Pet Insurance .
Important PLEASE read if interested in adoption:
We have a pretty open adoption policy, apartments, unfenced yards, and young kids are okay, but only if the pet you are interested in is a good fit for that situation!!! Some dogs may require a fence of a certain type and height, due to safety, the breed or known history. We are looking for pet parents that provide vet care such as routine vaccines for their pets and heartworm prevention for dogs. Please understand we do cross check vet references and landowners/landlord policies and cannot process applications with incomplete or incorrect information.
We asked that you take your newly adopted dog for a vet exam in the first 30 days to establish with your vet and obtain their heartworm prevention prescriptions and have a fecal exam administered as some pets may need additional de-womers after leaving our care.
