My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Velma is an extremely loving, kind cat who just wants to cuddle you and be petted. She is very friendly with all people and will probably sneak into your lap when you aren't paying attention. She loves to root into blankets and cover herself for naps, and will gladly accept all petting, even gentle tummy rubs! She will often come when called, and just wants to be close to you. She prefers to be a lone cat, and would be the perfect companion for someone who has no other pets. A true sweetheart!
Velma has been with us for over 11 years and was adopted as a kitten by a friend before we had her. We love her dearly, but are moving out of state and can't take her with us. We hope to find her a quiet home where she can give love and be loved.
