Howdy! I'm a beautiful tri-color Walker Hound Mix. We are hunting/chasing breed (you know, like coons and such).
I sure am lucky. A kind lady saw me being dumped by a heartless person and called the sheriff. A really nice lady deputy put me in her car and realized she had no where to take me. So, the kind folks at Lucie's Project gave me a place to stay, eat and sleep. Wow!!! I hit the jackpot. I kinda miss my family though, you know the ones that dumped me? I would like to have a forever home with you and your family if you have room for one more at the table. I'd like to go home with you.
Yep, I'm a hound mix. You would probably hear me alert if someone is about or if I smell something new. Everyone says I am sweet, so I must be! I'm not too shy either. I am curious about things and I love to take my time walking and smell all the new smells outside as I walk with you on my leash. I'm crate trained, so I'm pretty sure you would make it nice and comfy for me to sleep at night.
I can be a really good companion or snuggle buddy on the couch, but I need exercise and activities. Hey! I have a great idea! If you like, you can take me for long walks down a country road, or in the park, or your neighborhood. I can even play ball with you in the backyard. I'm sure I can be a loving and fatihful addition to your family. You can be my human too.
I would love to meet everyone in your family; kids, and other furry canine friends if you have any. Walkers are good with kids. I think I have a real best friend potential. Thanks for stopping by to see my picture and read my story. I would love to go home with you soon.
