Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Stevie is a female, spayed, micro-chipped dog, with all of her shots. She is approximately 2 years old, sleeps in her crate, and loves to use a dog door. She was rescued in the southern Arizona desert in the days of freezing weather and snow that followed last Christmas holiday; and, appeared to have been dumped with two other dogs days before Christmas. She was ultimately the last to be caught in a food trap about midnight in below freezing weather. She is smart, energetic, and friendly with people and dogs that she believes are her equal or bigger than she. She is loved in her home, but bullies the smaller and weaker pets there. She is a good friend and playmate to the larger dog. After evaluation by a professional pet trainer, it is recommended that she be homed with a larger female dog, or be the only pet in an active home. She can not be in a home with smaller pets. We are looking for a loving forever home for her, where she will be a welcome family member.
