My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Suki is a great little girl, tons of energy at only 6 months old.  This is an extremely active IG, and loves to run laps in the yard with her buddies.  But once done, she does like to get some cuddle time in a lap.  Her foster home says she has two speeds... cuddlebug and hellion.

She has a cute little white triangle on the back of her neck but is otherwise a blue Italian Greyhound in color.  Oh, and she has another little triangle on her snout too.

She came in to rescue because of potty issues, but has been doing well in her foster home on a schedule.  She knows her name, walks well on a leash, and will need continued work on her potty habits.  For a small IG, she seems to be a little more on the sturdy side.    She may tend to be an alpha female, and will mark things to let other dogs know she's the queen.  But, her old owners said she will stand near the door to indicate she needs to go outside, but hasn't been indicating that in her foster home.  She has started to use potty pads some though on occasion.

Being a puppy she doesn't acknowledge the word "no", or "bad".  And, she thinks everything is edible, is a table surfer/food thief.  She's a very smart dog if you can forgive all the puppy badness, very independent, and stubborn.  She will boss around larger IGs, even with her tiny size.

As she has settled she has sown a little resource guarding of toys, and will nip at other dogs who try to take her things.  So, she will need some training related to this.  She won't generally back down to other IGs, so a home with a submissive dog or as an only dog would be best.

She did come with her AKC registration papers too, and is about 14" at the shoulder.
