Initial Bio 08/17/19-
Hello everyone! My name is Jojo and I am new to the United Yorkie Rescue. I am a 4 year old, neutered, 6.5 lb bundle of love, little boy. My mom recently surrendered me to the UYR due to her health issues and not being able to give me the best life possible. She misses me dearly and calls almost every night to check on how I'm doing. Turning me over was super hard for her, but the best decision she could make for my future. I was quickly placed into a foster home with one other foster Yorkie named Jersey and a little jalapeno of a chihuahua, named Pepe. I get along with them both and quickly accepted foster mom and dad as my protector and care takers. I got to visit the dogtor yesterday for an initial check up and to get my heartworm protection. I heard them talking about something called a "dental". Not sure what that means, but I think foster mom scheduled it for me real soon. Other than that, I am perfectly healthy, puppy pad trained, know a few tricks (with treat motivation), and the most adorable love bug you will meet. I am looking for a home with no children (due to my size) where I can be loved for the rest of my life. I have plenty of love to give in return and really enjoy being included in everything you do. I will follow you around, sit on your lap, fall backwards in your arms for a belly rub, and intently stare into your eyes to show you how much I love you. I get along well with other dogs and people. It may take me a couple days to warm up to someone new, but once comfortable, I will show how sweet and lovable I truly am.
