Who is ready to give this gentle giant a new forever home? Mama Lady Bear is a gorgeous four-year-old female weighing in at about 85 pounds.

She is house trained and content to hang out in her bear cave (huge crate) and watch the family activities. She comes when called and knows sit. She is a smart girl and has already figured out how to use the dog door and when it is time to go on a walk. She would certainly be able to learn more obedience and tricks.

She loves taking walks and walks nicely on the leash. She is working on her endurance and each day goes a little longer. She walks well with other dogs and is not reactive to strange dogs. She is on weight management and needs to lose weight. (She has lost several pounds already and is feeling better!) The perfect family would be someone to take her on walks several times a day and a large fenced in yard to roam and sniff in.

She loves people and thinks she is a lap dog! Not sure about little kids (may knock over in her excitement) but good with older ones. She was around cats in her other home but no cats in foster home so can’t say for sure how she would react.

She doesn’t jump fences, chew or dig! She does like her bones to carry around and chew on. She is starting to play with toys and like to chase but still working on the fetch part!

Not good with chickens.

Mama Lady Bear is spayed, has her vaccinations of Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella. She has been fecal tested (negative) Heartworm tested (negative), microchipped and takes monthly preventatives.

Mama Lady Bear's adoption fee is $320.00 and she is being fostered in St Louis, Missouri.
