My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We found Tobey on a stoop in Bushwick trying to make friends with some people and get himself off the streets.
His fur was clearly matted where he used to wear a collar.
We arranged a carrier and he walked right in!
This guy does not belong on the street!
We posted signs that we found him but no one responded.
He is neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated and FIV/FeLV negative.

Tobey is very affectionate, and LOVES to play.
We love him dearly, and were hoping to keep him, but he does not get along with our house cats.
We tried a slow introduction, but it did not succeed.
HE NEEDS TO BE A SOLO CAT.

The stress of keeping him in the house separated from the other cats is becoming too much for us.
We are looking for a loving person(s) who is gentle and will continue to nurture this guy to reach his full potential. He was biting out of fear, and over-excitement when we first took him in, but now he has learned to be a good boy, and only give kisses!
