MEET RIVER!

River is a beyond handsome. sable German Shepherd male that weighs in at 100 lbs. River was turned in as a stray to the Davidson County Animal Shelter and when they asked us to help, we couldn't pass him up. River has had some serious training. He knows commands in English and Dutch as well as hand signals. We believe he was being trained for some sort of work but for some reason, didn't pass their criteria. Well, he most certainly passes ours.

River is dog selective and likes to carefully pick his friends. He likes to charm the ladies so no other male dogs please. He rides great in the car and LOVES to play. He is on the large size so we do suggest a home with older rather than younger children. He is treat and ball motivated. River is looking for an active, German Shepherd experienced home that will continue to insure that he has the exercise and mental stimulation that he needs.

River is up to date on vaccines, heart worm negative, neutered, microchipped and on flea/tick/heart worm preventatives. Adoption fee $400.
