My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Demetrius and I got my name because I was found in the dirt and flowers! (Demetrius means earth lover.) I have always been super playful, even when I was in the flower bed. But I am SO happy to be inside now where I'm safe and can play with as many toys as I want. When I'm not playing, I love to climb up on my rescuer's shoulder and be carried around like a little pirate's parrot...arrrrrgh! I am told I'm super handsome and exotic looking and I don't mind the compliment - I'm sure I'm descended from some Egyptian royalty. I am laid back otherwise and enjoy my cat naps. Oh! And one other thing... I LOVE to drink water from the running tap! Maybe I'm inspired by my ancient ancestors who used to sip drinks from The Nile.

I would be at my happiest in a home where I had a playmate who wouldn't mind some good-spirited wrestling.

I am neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for fiv/felv and can't wait to find my forever home. a foster would be ok, too.
