Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Laurel is a 16-month-old, 55-pound registered F1 Labradoodle.
While she is a registered Labradoodle, she has a stronger lab gene. Her coat is a beautiful chocolate color and is very smooth.
Laurel is just a sweet and loving girl who loves spending time with her people, especially when they praise her! She loves her foster family and eagerly seeks cuddles and pats. She was a bit hesitant at first when new people came to meet her and continues to keep a bit of a distance for a bit with new people but does eventually introduce herself.
She is a very active dog who loves to go for early morning walks, play with her 3 foster sisters, and even loves to cool off with a dip in the pool. She naps in the afternoon to avoid the heat. She would be best suited for a home with a large backyard that provides her space to run! She would be extra excited if there are squirrels and geese to chase.
Laurel does not love to be kenneled but will sleep in a laundry room with a nice, soft bed. She does have a bit of anxiety when left at home alone so she might be best with a family that has someone home a good deal of the time. Her ideal home would be one with another young big dog or children who will exercise with her. Because she is so young, she still has a few puppy habits like occasionally counter surfing, carrying around shoes (but not destroying them!); give her a good doggy toy and she will show it who is boss. Laurel must go to a home without small dogs or cats.
She is a smart girl and knows all her basic commands like sit, stay, down, and is learning ‘off’… which she sometimes conveniently forgets. She is a happy, wonderful, energetic dog who will make the perfect family member!
Laurel is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on prevention. Her adoption fee is $600.
