Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chief is a big hound-mastiff type dog, about 6 years old. He has a big hound bark but is really quite a good-natured dog.He is friendly with other dogs, though sometimes his enthusiasm might put another male off. Nice on the leash; loves his walk. He was saved from our local animal shelter to avoid euthanasia. He is currently fostered with Redwood Pals and has been wonderful in a home situation! He has some missing hair on his backside from old allergies or neglect but is in good health.
He likes to explore the yard lounge on the deck. He ignores the Hounds next door when they start barking and has only barked a few times and those were warning barks for reason. He knows basic commands, sit, down, wait and takes treats from hand very gently. We don't know if he would work in an apartment because of his size but we think Chief would work well in a home.
