My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dillon  - This beautiful boy is such a happy love bug!! He is very engaged with humans and loves companionship. Dillon is super smart an has great ground manners. For treats and praise, Dillon will sit, lay down and come when asked. He really loves to be inside the house, but also enjoys being outside in sunshine on the warm days.  He has a very short coat so he can get cold in the winter and uses a sweater to keep warm.

He enjoys having you throw his toy once LOL. Good luck getting it back – he thinks he is funny and likes to trot just far enough ahead not to bring it to you:)

Dillon REALLY enjoys his morning fun around the property - takes about 10 minutes of sniffing, chasing the birds and doing his morning rituals before its time for breakfast which he LOVES! He is a total foodie and puts eating above everything else. He enjoys being in the house, sleeping on the couch and laying in the kitchen while supervising food preparation. He is not a counter surfer but does welcome accidental food droppings on the kitchen floor :)

Dillon has a strong bark but is not barky.  He loves to talk in the morning during feed time. He has a lot of charisma and personality - super smart.

We included a video of him doing his morning run down the hill - he loves to chase the birds a lot who tease him on the fencing.  He is a strong dog meaning he is all in when he runs around. You have to watch his tail - sometimes it can swing around and get you on the knees The vet said it can be cropped if it becomes a problem.

He can be very silly and flop down on his back and roll over.  He is like a big baby and he doesn't know how tall he is. He likes to get body scratches and be brushed.

Dillon is friendly with indoor dog friendly cats. He will eat their food if given the opportunity.  He could be ok with outdoor kitties but would need to be monitored to make sure.

Dillon has shown friendliness towards children but because of his bouncy nature and the tail that wags so much, he would not be my first pick for a younger family. Dillon's best home would be a mature single or couple who have experience with a little bigger dog. I believe Dillon was raised with gentleness and love. He is a perfect housedog and is respectful and loving towards people.

Dillon is 2-3 years old and weighs about 45 lbs. He is current on his vetting and is microchipped.
