My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Champ is a super unique boy. He was found abandoned on the side of the freeway in the snow as a tiny puppy.. He's about 7 to 9 months old as best we can tell. He weighed 47 pounds at time of his neuter in early August or late July.. He looks like a lab/weimaraner with maybe some bully or hound in there also. He is a very shy of strangers so he will need someone who will give him the time to adjust and warm up. He does really well with kids though, so a family situation would probably be good for him. He also does well with other dogs, so a household with a calm dog may help him relax and settle in. He's very food motivated. He does fine in his crate and is housetrained. He will whine when he needs to go out.

He is in Foster in California City, CA, but currently in need of new foster in So Cal or can be adopted anywhere in California. Adoption fee of $300 includes spay/neuter, core vaccines (DAPP and rabies), microchip, access to training videos. You must complete an application before we are able to accommodate any request for a meet and greet.
