Randall came to us after having shown up on the doorstep of my sister's house as a kitten. He was little, likely only a few weeks old. He was likely a barn kitten that wandered off. He was quickly welcomed into our home. Randall grew up with our oldest son (6), Randall is 4. Randall is our oldest's cat which makes this so hard. In May of 2018 we had our second child and he had a complicated medical history when he was first born. We had a lot of trips to the Children's with some extended stays. Randall did not cope well. When things finally settled down it took weeks for him to come out of the basement and he didn't take well to child #2. Eventually we found he's been peeing in the children's playroom. We've gone through every measure we can to stop him including gutting the play room to eliminate instinctive smells. There is something about that room that we can't break him from. He pees no where else and still uses the litter box but it seems he's territorial.
