My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marley #2 is a 8-year-old spayed female yellow lab. Marley weighs 95 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.

MOST RECENT UPDATE:Marley #2/Penny's tail does work - it simply took some time! When her fosters come home or she sees us, she wags to say hello:) She found the toy basket, and although she is not a huge player or retriever, she periodically picks up a tennis ball and brings it to you or gnaws on one of the many bones found all over our house. She LOVES her walks in her pretty green Koda's Collars with pink hearts; we don't go far and we don't go fast but she loves all the smells and all the people and dogs we've met so far. Marley/Penny is super easy and requires little more than a soft bed and a few "good girl's" or pats on her head/belly. Do you have room in your heart and home for Marley/Penny?

UPDATE: Marley #2/Penny 1) wishes her FM would stop taking pictures of her; 2) visited with a friend for a weekend sleepover and met two very dog-savvy cats; she initially appeared to want to play with them but that was more effort than she wanted to expend and she laid back down!; 3) she is not fazed by a Roomba, although the Roomba was not happy that Penny laid in the path of its home and it could not return to its base! Penny is a very easy dog that requires little more than a place to sleep, a few pats on her head/some belly scratches and some food. Do you have room in your heart and your family for Penny?

UPDATE: Sweet Marley enjoyed her first afternoon with her foster family. This is what we know about her so far: 1) although she was a stray, she clearly knows her way around a house, including going up and down the 14 stairs without any issues; 2) she takes treats ever so gently; and 3) she needs to lose about 20 pounds (don't we all?!?). We see a vegetable and fruit diet in her future! If you are looking for a laid back, gentle soul, consider Marley. More information to come as we learn more about her!

DESCRIPTION: Marley would love to meet you so she can give you love and attention. She loves to be with you to play and get petted which I don't think she had a lot of until she came to us. She enjoys being outside playing with other dogs but thinks being inside with people is better. She is not interested in running around outside retrieving but will go get treats which she takes very nicely. She like to go on walks which is good as she has to lose some extra weight. Marley would like to meet a family that will give her love, attention. She just went to a foster this afternoon so more soon.
