My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sophie is a 4 year old, 10 pound Chihuahua who was saved moments from being killed at a Texas shelter. She is shy at first but once she warms up, she is sweet and loving. She gets along with people and other dogs fairly well. She doesn't do too well with other dogs, She somewhat gets along with them, but she can be quite sassy with them. So we do think she would do best in a home with no other dogs. She would do best with older children. She has been sitting with her foster's young children and enjoying their attention, but sometimes she has had enough and gets snappy. She enjoys getting treats, playing fetch with her ball and snuggling up with her people. She does not like her collar or harness put on, and is scared of the leash, so she uses potty pads well in her foster home.
She would probably do best with an experienced dog owner. Sophie is currently in Massachusetts with her foster family but can be transported to an approved adopter. Can you give this pretty little girl the furever home she deserves?
