Please consider fostering sweet Claudia so she can make her transport to Long Island arriving Saturday 8/31..

Claudia was surrendered to a high kill shelter in Georgia with her litter of puppies. A rescue took the cute little puppies and left Claudia to her fate. Save a Dog a Day was lucky to have seen the posting and scooped this sweet girl up. She has been vetted and rested and spoiled by our foster down south. She had surgery on both eyes and is completely recovered.

We are told that claudia is a Shar-Pei Doberman mix. She is about 40 pounds, 2 years old.

Her foster mom says… Claudia is super sweet. She can be shy at first and barks when strangers come to the house but will quickly warm up to everyone, once she knows she is safe. She loves to play with other dogs but can be fearful of bigger ones. She loves to gather up all the toys all to herself. She can be tentative about doing new things but does love to ride in the car and is ridiculously loving and affectionate to the people who show her the same! She has the softest coat and gives kisses. She sleeps with me and will “talk” to me when she wants something. So cute! Anyone who adopts Claudia will be lucky to have her! She is truly a sweetheart just looking to be loved!!

An application and home visit are required for placement of any of our pets. Claudia’s adoption fee is $400.

All expenses paid for foster. You simply love Claudia while she finds 'her family'.
