My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

LUNA #4 is a 10-month-old spayed female black lab. Luna #4 weighs 49 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.

Luna has plenty of puppy fun in her. She loves her toys and running in the yard. This weekend, Luna learned how to navigate the pool steps so she could take a fun swim in the pool! She also went on a short hike in the woods and played in the stream. At home, Luna has become very comfortable with her surroundings and foster parents. She can be leary of new people and experiences so will need continued support and training from her adoptive family. We have also learned that she loves to play with other dogs, and enjoys stuffed toys and rope toys. She can become overly enthusiastic when playing outside; putting her back on the leash helps her calm down. She does well in the home and loves her crate. She will make an excellent companion for someone with the the patience to help her work through new things. She is worth the investment! Luna comes with a complimentary 7-week Good Manners class at Peaceable Paws in Fairplay, MD.

July 12, 2019: Luna has discovered she enjoys blueberries
