Hi, I'm Kirby, 1yr old and weigh about 13 lbs. I could love you already and you've only just met through a picture. Yes, I'm talking to you and yes keep swiping my pics so you can see my fluffy teddybear face one more time. Wait till you pet me in person, everyone says I have the softest hair.
Are you looking for a soul mate? Well so am I. Do you want to laugh at my bunny hop when we go on our walks? Or watch my booty waddle over to you when you call my name? Then I'm your boy.
People tell me how calm, sweet and easy-going I am for just being 1 yr. old. Oh, don't get me wrong, I got mad chasing skills. Yes, * sigh* I chase flies. Don't tell anybody. I sleep soundly at night either in my bed or next to you. Whatever you prefer.
My foster mommy says I have the best manners in car rides, greatest patience at home or in public and exudes most calm energy. I'm a chilled homebody. We can cook together, do laundry, watch a movie, lay by your feet or your lap or just sit and gossip. Yes, you can tell me all your secrets and I'll tell you mine.
When you get my leash, I'll boop your leg with my gumdrop nose as a thank you and wag my tail. Yes, I bark at some dogs and some people and I could use your help so I can be better socially on a walk. My foster mom is working on this with me and I have come a long way in ignoring these dogs. However, you'll be happy since I got an A+ on leash walking. I've mastered all basic obedient skills but would love to learn more with you.
I would not do well spending the entire workday alone by myself and will need a canine companion if you work a full day. Although I would like a canine companion if you are at work all day doggie daycare is not a good option for me since I do not want to be around that many dogs all day. I am not good with young children and do not want them in my home. Teens and up are fine with me. No cats either. I will chase them and make them scared.
I have many hidden talents to show you along with boundless affection and love.
Kirby's adoption dee is $275 and he is being fostered in San Francisco, CA.
All our dogs are in private homes and arrangements to meet our dogs occur after an application has been received.
