My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Coal...the vet thinks I am about 7 years old and I weigh 7 1/2 lbs.! Yes, I am a little guy; but when you meet me, you will see what a big heart that I have!

I don't know how; but I was lost and all alone in a big city. I actually passed out and when Animal Control found me, they thought I was dead at first. I was taken to the shelter and seen by a vet right away....got some fluids and food in me and given time to sleep. The next day, the staff shaved over a pound of fur from me....boy, that really made me feel better.

I had angels watching over me because before I knew it, I was rescued by Schnauzer Rescue Cincinnati and transported to a foster home. I am not a Schnauzer; but a Schnoodle....half Poodle and half Schnauzer. My foster mom took me for a physical and I was given a clean bill of health except for my teeth....they were in bad shape and I had many removed. I am a quiet guy even when my foster step-brothers are all barking at the mailman or Amazon delivery person. I love walking on a leash and going for car rides. I am still learning how to use steps. I can eat small kernel dog food as long as it is softened.

My dream is to find a forever home of my own....I love my foster mom and my home here but can't wait for one of my own. Please consider filling out an application for me....I will show you how much love I have to give with doggie kisses! My fee is only $350. Thank you.
