My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sammie is a super affectionate 8 year old female Brittany who is looking for a new forever home. Unable to care for her, Sammie's previous owner asked us to find her a home where she would be loved as she deserved to be. Sammie is very loving and wants to be with her human as much as possible.

Sammie is great with other dogs and currently lives in a foster home with multiple dogs. We would like to see Sammie go to a home with another dog as we fear she may experience anxiety being completely alone. If you don't have another dog, we would like Sammie to go to someone that is home more than not home. An active retiree would be close to perfect for Sammie. We want Sammie to get ample daily exercise as she came to us overweight and we have worked hard to get her slimmed down to a nice weight.

Sammie is spay, up to date on vaccines and tested negative for heartworm and tick borne diseases. She is house trained and crate trained.

Our adoption process includes completing an application, interview, and meet/greet with all family members. We do a two week trial with all of our dogs prior to completing the adoption.
