Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Female, age 4, terrier mix. Elise wins best in character! It is difficult to describe what an amazingly sweet, fun, playful, energetic, intelligent girl she is! She absolutely loves humans. She was either dumped or escaped her captors multiple times. Definitely don’t hold that against her. She was another breed girl. Her humans failed her terribly, but Elise doesn’t hold all humans accountable. Did we say she is amazing? While Elise can be guarded with some dogs, she can also be great with others. She very quickly lets you know who she wants as friends and who she doesn’t. She mostly likes males but has been seen being very friendly to females. During her time at the shelter Elise visited the nursing homes. The residents still ask about her as do shelter staff and volunteers, because she was so loved by everyone. She has had many inquiries from people with disabilities thinking she would be a great service dog. Elise needs an experienced handler due to her selection of dogs. It would not be good for her to be out and about and her handler not be able to control her under stress. The right person will make all the difference for this PRINCESS!
