My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Sam and his friends are currently staying at the cat room at Pet Supply Plus in Vadnais Heights!
An application will need to be completed before we can arrange a meet and greet inside the room - but he is visible through the glass for anyone coming to the store **

Sam came to us from a very nice family who had been feeding him for several years. He had been attacked by another animal and needed immediate medical attention. That's when they contacted us. Our amazing vet got him fixed up and on the mend!

Now that Sam has had time to heal and adjust to indoor life, we would like to find that special home to call his own. Sam is a very sweet boy. He is learning how great indoor life can be and is gradually learning how great human attention is as well!

Sam has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He has also been tested for FeLV/FIV twice. Both times, he tested negative for feline Leukemia. Unfortunately, he has tested positive for FIV but with a healthy grain-free high quality diet he should live out a long and healthy life. His temperament has been very gentle and he has been very calm and reserved around other FIV+ cats in the foster home. (He and Oreo sleep together and get along great if you are looking for two!). We feel that he would do fine in a home with another FIV+ cat or maybe even a home with a cat friendly dog. (FIV cannot be transmitted to people or dogs and is only transmitted to other cats through a deeper bite wound.) Sam's adoption fee is $200+tax
