My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HARRIETTE came from a high kill shelter in alabama. she had puppies who all got adopted. she is a beautiful dog, very strong. not sure of mix. could have hound or pitt bull? she loves, loves people, the more the better. and she loves kids, but need a strong owner who will watch her around them because of her strength. she loves walking and riding in the car. she needs an active home who can give her plenty of exercise. she is unpredictable around other dogs, so we feel she should be the only pet, and iffy with cats. outside, she lets cats and dogs walk right up to her, but inside she is very protective. she is on medication for chewing and anxiety, and in the right home, she may be able to wean off it. she is totally crate trained, but we don't leave her loose for long because of her rascally chewing. she does well in the basement or mudroom, but will chew on shoes, blankets, etc. she is really a nice dog, but needs the right home. here are pics with one of her puppies, and we go on play dates. she loves her. thanks for loving Harriette. she is microchipped
