BAYLEE dob: ~12/28/2010 pb spayed female Beagle(originally adopted from Charlotte Humane Society 6yrs prior to coming to Howlin4Spirit.
Rescued by H4S CARes when past owner had a baby and then decided they no longer had time to give Baylee a 'quality' life. Granted, Baylee's life consisted, mostly, of short potty breaks from life on the couch with lots of treats and no exercise.
UPDATE: BAYLEE has trimmed down to her rightful weight of 23lbs, enjoys a quiet, leisurely nose-to-the-ground investigation of a secured backyard and it's inhabitants.
At H4S, she has learned what a quality living can be when someone cares enough to bring her back into nature and not just fed treats to appease her boredom while 'life gores on' with her people, all the time.
Baylee lost 7 lbs in over 3 months because she no longer lounges inside all day long. Being around others who are active to remind her that life includes adventures, even small ones such as short walks along wooded trails with her person, & other pups has renewed her spirit.
Very sweet, and when she trusts your intentions-being given away after 6yrs can be heartbreaking for some, she will show you her devotion and unconditional love, in return.
HOUSEBROKEN, walks well on-leash, may not be a good fit around loud and aggressive children(will hide), and likes going for car rides, being included.
Gentle and calm. EZ going. NOT a jogger! But, would do best with slow, leisurely walks as her daily exercise and being an integral part of the goings-on.
adoption fee: $95(includes all medical paperwork from past owner and H4S, health cetificate, Rabies certificate, spayed, micro-chip, vaccines utd(3yr Rabies, Bordatella and Parvo-Distemper/Lepto), parasite-free, current on monthly heart worm and flea/tick prevention, new Martingale collar and matching 6' leash, beef knee cap bone, 'RESCUED DOGS ROCK' car magnet, 2 'pet alert' wallet cards).
This pup is in and will remain in foster care in Rutherfordton, NC until her fur-ever family/home is approved.

These pups are in and will remain in foster care in Rutherfordton, NC until they have recovered from their surgeries and their pre-approved adoptive family/person is approved.
Transport is available to DC, VA, MD, PA, NJ, Long IslandNY, RI, NH, VT every SATURDAY and 2Xs/monthly to upstateNY(Buffako/Rochester/Syracuse/Albany). Fees are: $125 from western NC as far as Vince Lombardi svc plaza/NJTnpk, mm 115 and $140 to all other destinations.
