Hi Everyone!! I’m Buddy! I’d like to tell you a little about myself, because I am looking for my FOREVER home!!!
I’m not reluctant to say, I’m a really handsome and a fun loving 40 lb. 3-year old pup! My life before was not the greatest, to say the least. I lived outside all alone, tied to a garage and did not get the love, affection, attention, or care that I know I deserved. But about 2 months ago, I was surrendered to some really nice people!! I was fully vetted (including micro-chipped), am totally healthy and I’m now living in a foster home with 5 other dogs and 3 cats and I get along great with all of them!!! With that said, I would do great as an only dog, too! As long as I have someone to give me as much love as I would give, I’d be in Heaven!!
When I’m not outside in the yard, I like relaxing on the couch or just hanging out with my foster parents and siblings. I love to cuddle, I take treats very gently, do not chew things I’m not supposed to, and I am very well behaved in the house when my foster parents aren’t home. I don’t even need to be crated! I love chasing balls and I’ve even learned to bring them back!
If you’d like to meet me, I’d LOVE to meet you. I LOVE everybody I meet!! I spent so much time alone in the past, I’m really just enjoying that I get to be with others now!!
Our adoption process starts with our application. Once the application is approved, a member of Legacy will contact you to set up a home visit. The home visit usually last 1-1 1/2 hours and is to make sure our dog and any current dogs/cats are getting along, as well as both of us agreeing it's a fit. At this time the adoption fee is due, and begins the 2 week trial. We will check in during the 2 week trial. If it's not working, our dog is returned to the foster home and all except $50.00 of the adoption fee is returned. At the end of the 2 week trial, you decide if you will finalize the adoption - if finalized, the Adoption Contract is signed and all medical records are turned over to you. If at any time you need to rehome the dog it contractually needs to be returned to Legacy Dog Rescue.

Seniors (over 7 yrs): $99.00
