Rowan is a beautiful, fun and sassy girl. Rowan is an American Pit Bull Terrier. She is crate and house trained and just an all-around awesome girl! Rowan is looking for a home where she will be loved...that is all she asks for. Rowan is a sweet girl; she is very active when she is outside but is relaxed inside. She knows how to play fetch and LOVES any toy you give her. She is not destructive whatsoever. She is good with dogs of all ages and sizes.

More from Rowan: "Hello! I am Rowan. I was abandoned in an apartment for almost 2 weeks after my family was evicted. They took my Chihuahua friend, but left me to fend for myself. Can you believe that??? My foster mommy says I am super sweet and play well with other dogs. I love to cuddle and be with humans. I would love to find a family that will never leave me behind."

Our adoption fees vary, according to species, size, age and other issues. Discounts apply in some cases. Our dogs have been dewormed, heartworm tested (if over 6 months), started on heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, vaccinated for bordetella, dhppv, rabies (if age appropriate) and microchipped. If old enough they are spayed or neutered, otherwise it will be noted and under a foster to adopt contract until completed and an additional deposit of $50 will be required- deposit will be refunded upon request and proof of surgery.

We expect our dogs to be adopted by families who understand- these are rescue dogs, they will need time to decompress, routine and stability. We put our lives into saving these dogs- we expect their new families to be prepared for a lifetime commitment before applying- dogs are not recyclable.

Please do not send an email inquiring about a dog. Please fill out the adoption application found at https://www.rangersreach.org/ We are 100% volunteer ran we try as hard as we can to get through applications as fast as possible. If we spend all our time answering inquires and emails, we have no time to look over applications. Please do not apply until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. We do not hold dogs for any reason. We do try to be fair and go in the order applications are received. If no response, decision or adoption is made we must move on to the next application. Applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will receive that dog.

WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE HAVE NO BRICK AND MORTAR LOCATION-- WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE, ALL DOGS ARE IN PRIVATE FOSTER HOMES.
If we if we think your home might be a good fit, we will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application. We do check references, use social media, been verified, do phone interview/emails, and home check will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog.
