My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Stanley(or Stan Lee). He is about a year old and currently weighs 39 lbs. He is a rock star! He gets along with all dogs and ignores cats. He loves children and babies. He is gentle, loving and obedient. He is good on a leash but really doesn't need one as he sticks by my side. He loves car rides and cuddles. He also loves Pina Coladas and getting caught in the rain. But seriously, he was rescued from Craven Animal Shelter with 50+ other animals. He is learning to be a puppy and how to have fun.

After a week of fostering, he knows sit and down. He also knows where the treats and dog food are kept. He LOVES the water and will even sit for a bath.

Stanley will enter the NLOL program on September 9 , 2019, and will be graduating sometime at the end of October. All NLOL dogs are fully vetted, up to date on vaccines and spayed or neutered and micro-chipped. When they graduate from The Pamlico Correctional Institution, they will have 8 to 10 weeks of crate and housebreaking training along with basic obedience and agility training.
