My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

WOOF!. My name is Theo. I am a Plott Hound/Shepherd mix which means I am easy to train and am really smart. I am brindle in color (brown with black tiger stripes) which means I am adorable.
I am pretty easy going and will be good with kids and I am great with other dogs. I do great with body handling which means I will let you pull on my tail, ears and grab my hips without any problems.

I am in my second week of training and I already know sit, stay, wait, leave it, touch, focus, down, settle, relax, stand come and heel. I am good on a leash and love to play fetch. I have started my agility training and started learning a few tricks. Basically, I have learned the 8-week course (plus some extras) in just 2 weeks.
I am eager to please and don't take up too much space. My only demand is belly rubs and chest scratches.

Theo entered the NLOL program on September 9, 2019, and will be graduating sometime in early November. All NLOL dogs are fully vetted, up to date on vaccines and spayed or neutered and micro-chipped. When they graduate from The Pamlico Correctional Institution, they will have 8 to 10 weeks of crate and housebreaking training along with basic obedience and agility training.
