Calling All Experienced Husky Lovers ...
Buck is ready to find a forever family to call his own .
After being found on the parkway three years ago and failed by humans time and time again, Buck is finally ready to find a home to call his own.
Buck is a 7 year old husky who just loves to be loved! Once he is comfortable with you, he’ll shower you with kisses, snuggle with you on the couch, wrap his paws around you and let you brush him for hours! He is also DOG FRIENDLY and enjoys lying outside and taking in the fresh air .
He does prefer that his humans and canine companions leave his food alone when it comes to breakfast, lunch and dinner, shows very little interest in toys and is still working on his housebreaking. Unfortunately he was recently in a position that set him back with that, but we have full confidence in our boy that he will get that back down pat in no time.
Based on his history, Buck would do best in an adult only, low traffic home and with an owner who has experience with the breed. Buck knows to come when you call his name, knows basic commands and is working on perfecting “ roll over.” He is a Mello guy who has had a rough past but has already started to leave it behind during this time with his Awesome Foster family!
