My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little cutie-pie with one ear up and the other down had a bit of a rough past, but he settled into his foster home surprisingly quickly and well. Peanut weighs about 15 pounds and is 3 years old. He was surrendered by someone who had him for about 18 months, and was apparently not well treated in his prior home.

Initially unsure when meeting new people, Peanut warms up quickly and enjoys making himself at home on a lap. He’s great with cats and other small dogs, and would probably benefit from having another playful little dog for company.
Peanut is housetrained, will sit nicely for a treat, and walks well on leash. He only seems to bark when someone arrives at the door, so he could be suitable for a condo or apartment. Peanut needs a confident adopter who has had dogs before.

All Kiko dogs have been examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated, dewormed and tested for heartworm (if deemed necessary), microchipped, sterilized, and require an adoption fee of $400 and an adoption contract.
