Here's what the humans have to say about me:
The last couple of weeks have taken us on quite a ride here at This Old Cathouse. On July 22, we took in nine kittens from three different litters--four sickly tabbies that were about a week old, four black fuzzballs who were a little older and a four-week-old lone wolf. Two of the tabbies didn't last long, and we were almost certain that a third would also be a lost cause. But we took little Monk to the vet, got him some antibiotics, gave him some fluid injections, kept tube feeding him and he slowly improved. He's still way behind his sister, Marple, but we're hopeful that he's out of the woods.
Things are looking much better for all the kids at this point. Our four little centerfielders--Maysie, Mickey, Duke and Putt-Putt--are plump and playful. Mookie, our lone wolf, is now stealing the heart of a foster mom. Meanwhile, we're considering renaming the two surviving tabbies Cersei and Jaime, because of some curious behavior we're observing. However they choose to amuse themselves, they seem happy and healthy, and that's all that really matters.
....that was from a month ago. We are happy to report that Monk and Marple are thriving and are healthy, cuddly and playful kittens looking for their forever homes!
Marple This little girl is a bundle of energy. So pretty. So soft. So cuddly. Just one look at her and you will be under her spell of adorableness. The little lady uses a litter box like a pro, is a dainty eater, and thinks a crumpled up paper ball is the best toy ever!. Right now she sleeps on a fluffy blanket with her brother. At nine weeks old, she is at the height of cuteness. Her spay, deworming, and age appropriate shots are included in her adoption fee.
Monk: This little guy is the perfect accessory for Fall. Drape him over your shoulder as a scarf, or let him curl up on your chest as an eye-catching necklace. He will include the most soothing purr free-of-charge until he zonks out. Happy him, happy you! He uses a litter box and sleeps on a fluffy blanket with his sister when he's not chasing a crumpled up piece of paper from room to room. (He ALWAYS wins!) His adoption includes his neuter, deworming, and age appropriate shots.
