My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I’m Dottie. I’m a 3 year old, Aussie/poodle mix weighing in at 26 pounds. My foster parents say I’m super sweet and get along with kids, adults, cats and dogs. I like to keep busy and be with my people so I would do best with someone who works from home/ stays at home or could take me to work with them. I love to exercise and go for walks too. Doggie daycare is my favorite. I do well when kenneled but don’t really enjoy it and travel great in the car. I also enjoy snuggling on the sofa and I’m known for being a bed hog. I’m the perfect combination of being active with a chill side too. I will require a fenced in yard.  I am spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and kept on monthly preventatives.  You can apply to adopt via our website at www.handsofhoperescue.com or email for an application if you cannot fill one out online.
