Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pumba is a 1.5 yr old Corgi mix. He was living with a woman who could not afford medical treatment after he was hit by a car. She had taped his leg to his body hoping that would help. A few days after the accident a rescuer reached out to the owner and offered to help.
Pumba had a double fractured hip and his other hip was dislocated plus he had multiple lacerations. After surgery and rehab his rescuer was able to save his leg from amputation. Now, 8 months later Pumba is looking for his furever home (he was surrendered by his previous owner).
Pumba is very sweet with his people and loves to lay on your lap. Pumba is better with smaller non dominant dogs. He would do very well as an only child or with a small/medium non dominant companion. Pumba is not a hiking buddy. He would be happier lounging on the couch in a home with no stairs (unless you could carry him up and down). He is able to walk and run but it would be best if he was in a less active home with older children only.
