My story

If you love brindles and are thinking about adopting a greyhound, Maggie will be perfect for you. She is a super nice young dog, born in December 2007, so only about a year and 1/2 old. She had no interest in racing and needs a home. Magie is very affectionate and loves people and other dogs. She gives kisses, comes when she is called, and very much wants to please you. She is very calm and well-mannered, but also playful. She is adjusting very well to life in a home and already walks quietly by your side while on a leash. She also enjoys going for car rides. Not only does she have a wonderful temperment, she also is friendly with small dogs and cats as well as greyhounds. Maggie is a little smaller than average for a female greyhound at just 61 lbs. As you can see from her photos, she is a beautiful red brindle with a very pretty face and large dark eyes. She comes to us from an excellent kennel, so we know she has had good care from the time she was a puppy. Maggie's $225 adoption fee includes her spay, teeth cleaning, all vaccines, 3-yr rabies, microchip, leash and collar, grooming mit, stuffie toy, toothbrush and tooth gel (we recommend brushing your greyhound's teeth), and an adoption guide. We do not expect Maggie to be available for very long, so please call us right away at 813/272-2332 to meet Maggie and reserve her for your very own.
