Scooter is our cuddly Havanese - he's very smart, affectionate, and playful. He seems to think he's a person and even tries to smile when he's happy. Scoots loves to walk and play outside, but he's happiest of all curled up on your lap. He was our first baby, but unfortunately has not adjusted well to us having young (human) kids.
Scooter is a 6-yr old male purebred (11 lbs). He's hypoallergenic, doesn't shed and has no health issues, but he does have a luxating patella (common in small dogs, he skips when he walks but it isn't painful).
Scoots spends his days lounging on the sofa, and sleeps in our bed at night. His one major issue is resource guarding (a toy, treat, or even a lap), and has bitten when provoked, so we are not comfortable with him being with a toddler in the house. He is very friendly to people and other small dogs, but isn't comfortable around large dogs.
Scoots is a dog who returns the affection and love he's shown, so he needs a great, loving home!
