My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ava is an almost 8-month-old Bassett Hound pup who came to us after her owner passed away and family members couldn’t take her in. She is the sweetest, most loving girl. She is very curious and loves to explore her surroundings. There isn’t much that she’s afraid of! She also loves to play with her humans and her foster sister and is good at entertaining herself when they’re busy. She loves to get pets and to give sloppy kisses (and the occasional nibble on your nose!). When she’s done playing, all she wants to do is snuggle on the couch. Her house training is going very well, and she is learning very quickly. She loves all kids (lived with two little ones in her temporary foster home when she first came into rescue) and adults. She is active and loves her canine foster sister, so any current fur babies in her new home should be prepared for a playmate! Overall, we think she is easily trained and will be an amazing family dog. Your heart will definitely skip a beat when you see her happy little face running towards you to give kisses! 💗🐶
