My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***ADOPTIVE FAMILY NEEDED***

If you see sadness in his eyes, it’s because it’s there, lurking deep inside.
He knows something is up, yet again. Dogs as we all know are very intuitive and they sense when both changes are coming their way.

This poor dog has had the worst luck in his very short life.

First, he was rescued from the streets of Egypt from other street dogs picking on him and not let ting him eat.
He was kept on a balcony, on scorching days of Egyptian summer, with no walks, humans to interact with or other dogs to play with. luckily the foster home contacted a rescue asking for help to find him a home in Canada, and we only were too happy to oblige.

Tommy is a sweet, affectionate, playful boy. He’s amazing with other dogs and people. He loves playing with is toys, chase and be chased by other dogs. Being a medium energy dog, he enjoys his walks, visits to the park and backyard romps, but will chill out on the couch with you no problem. He is about 50 lbs and generally submissive. He gets along well with most dogs and would do well with another dog in the home. He is not cat tested. Tommy has not shown any signs of aggression to other dogs or with food. He just wants to be loved by all, animals and humans alike, and would make a great addition to any home.

Tragically for Tommy, the first two homes in Canada have not worked out due to human problems, issues and factors having absolutely nothing to do with Tommy. The both families could not say enough what a great, loyal affectionate and fun boy he is, but their lives changed and they did not include him.

We are looking for a home with mature, stable people, that can return his loyalty and affection ten times over. A family that will love him and want him no matter what life throws at them, because this is what Tommy does, he loves his human family even though he’s been disappointed, neglected and abandoned by people before.

He is healthy, UTD and neutered.
He is just a baby at 1.5 years old.
He currently lives in Hamilton.

His adoption fee is $490.
