My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the sweetest and most adorable duo, Nora and Norman! These little bonded cuties were rescued by a good Samaritan in metro Atlanta after being “dumped”. Jillian from Training to the Rescue has them in foster care now after an unsuccessful attempt to find any owners. Nora and Norman have truly lucked out and their future is bright, as now they have this opportunity to find an awesome home hopefully together! They are so fun, easy and great with each other- but also get along well with the other dogs and cats in foster care. Spaniel mix Nora appears to be older, maybe between 4-5 years old. She weighs around 20-25lbs. Terrier Norman is younger, about two years old and a bit chubbier at 25-28lbs. Norman would benefit from some exercise as he should lose a few pounds! Nora takes the lead with the pair, and Norman looks to her for direction. Both are very affectionate and loving towards people. Nora will bark at the kitty occasionally but both are generally quiet and calm. The pair knows their basic commands and are leash trained. They are good in the house and crate trained and house-trained. They will need you to help them pull less on the lead as they get excited about their walks and being outdoors. They are good with kids and comfortable in social situations. They will make good exercise partners and are quite playful with each other and their doggie friends. Foster mom Jillian says they race around the back yard happily maybe due to the newness of having a yard. Nora and Norman are terrifically happy together! They are spayed and neutered and micro-chipped. The “N” kids will be micro-chipped before adoption. Jillian does want to keep them together because they are small and easy and appear to be bonded. It’s not like one goes crazy when the other leaves the room, but they definitely love to play together, sleep together and will settle in with a new family easier together. For more information, contact Jillian at trainingtotherescue@gmail.com or for an adoption application go to raincityrescue.com/adopt right away as these small, smart and social babes will not last long! They will cuddle and give you kisses and rewards for many years to come if you welcome these besties into your fun-loving family!
