Jax is an adorable 7 month old pup who is sweet and wants to be your sidekick. He is a trip hazard and likes to be underfoot, so is not a good match in a home where someone is less than steady on their feet or may not notice a tiny one underfoot.
We were told that he is a Pug. He may be a Pug, he may be a Pug mixed with another breed...we don’t know. He looks and acts like a Pug, but we cannot guarantee breed.
He has been exposed to dogs large and small, as well as cats (he is very interested in them and tends to be a bit rough, so would do best in a cat-free home) , in his foster home and is fine with both. He’s a typical puppy so will chew on your hands and feet, will destroy prized possessions, have lots of accidents on your floor and all of the other wonderful things puppies do, so his adopter needs to be patient and willing to work with him. If you are wanting a cute pup to show off but not put any work into him, Jax isn’t the one for you.
If you want the cute pup in the photo but aren’t prepared for the energy of the puppy in the video, please consider an adult dog.
* Neutered, has age appropriate vaccines and micro chipped. His adoption fee is $250.00
* He’s a typical, mouthy puppy so not recommended for a home with young children.
* We are a “best fit” not first come, first serve rescue. All applications will be reviewed.
* Adopters must live within 2 hours of Florence, KY (no exceptions)
* Previous and current dogs must be neutered and consistently on heartworm preventative. Heartworm preventative is by prescription only and we will be calling the vet reference to verify.
* We check all references, schedule a meet and greet once an application is approved, then schedule a home visit. It’s a process. If you are looking for a quick adoption, our rescue is not a good fit for your wants.
