My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Ziggy.
I am a dachshund mix around 1.5 years old. My story starts with a call from the sheriff. Concerned neighbors called over and over asking for a wellness check, concerned about myself and my 2 friends. We were abandoned by a family in a very rural area. I was living in a box trying to stay out of the weather. It was a great day when my foster mom showed up and promised me things would only get better. I was very under weight but in no other major health issues.
Today, I am a happy girl! I love play wrestling with my new dog friends. I am learning how to sleep in my own crate every night. My foster mom bought me a huge fluffy dog bed that I love nestling in and taking a nap. I have learned to use the doggie door. I am working on this housebroke thing. I am still a little confused if the doggie door is closed what to do but learning more every day.
I am spayed, micro chipped, heartworm negative and up to date on vaccinations. My adoption fee covers transport from Tennessee and a health certificate to travel with.
