Akela (F) Approx. DOB 4/1/18

Akela was among a group of community cats living at a Teen Center in City Heights. When we were working on the colony this pretty girl was scooped up by one of the caretakers as she was about to give birth. Akela ended up having 5 kittens who will be available next week. She has been an excellent momma and it's time she gets to have her own home to be a cat without worries. This sweet girl is a bit shy at first but warms up in a few days. She is very laid back and gentle. She loves being petted and purrs away while you love on her. She is okay with being held. She seems to get along with other cats but does growl at the kittens, probably because she is tired of being a mom. Give this girl a chance and she will be a great addition to your home. Has not been around children or dogs.
