My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Toby is by far the best pet I have ever had. He's smart, cheerful, good-natured (has never growled or bit), playful and very aware and interested in his surroundings. He is a bit shy and sensitive, and does bark when, for example, someone comes to the door, or when playing. He's an indoor dog, paper/litter box trained, so would do well on a boat, RV, etc. He's had regular vet care and teeth cleanings, and has never had any teeth problems. Even though he is 12 years old, he still behaves like he's a puppy.

Toby has a mild case of "collapsing trachea". The vet said that this is very common in small dogs, and can range from mild to serious. Toby's only symptom is an occasional bit of coughing.

Although I would love to hang onto Toby, my changing circumstances mean that I just won't have the time to spend with him that he deserves.
