I adopted Deanie from Pets In Need (petsinneed.org) in 2006. She's around 13 1/2 years old now (estimated) but still very healthy and full of life. She is crate-trained and has no problem sleeping through the night (in another room from me). She also loves to sleeps in her crate in the same room with me (sometimes that's needed...such as July 4 because of the fireworks noise). She is on the quiet side and seldom barks. She has no separation anxiety. I sometimes will be at work for 10 to 12 hours with no problem. She is also house trained and can easily last that long without going outside. She loves people and really just likes to lay beside you on the sofa while you watch TV. All her vaccines are up-to-date and since the day I adopted her, she has been getting regular 6 month examination at Bansfield Hospital. Everyone (friends/relatives, pets hotel, ROVER.com) who has dog sat her said she is very easy to take care. Unfortunately, I need to relocate to another state in June 2020.
