My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daffney is a sweet girl who has been through a lot. She was adopted from a shelter at one point a couple years ago and then ended up back there when she was found as a stray. When she first came to us she was very sad and nervous which all things considered made total sense. Once she received a much needed spa day with our groomer and learned that all of us here just wanted to love her and make her feel safe she started opening up and letting us into her heart.

Daffney is currently in a foster home and her foster mom had this to say about her: "Daffney is a loyal and loving lap dog. She takes a little bit to warm up to new people but once she does she wants all the attention and rub downs. She seems to be house trained, and is slowly adjusting to being crated. She loves a good walk followed by a lot of snuggling"

Daffney is around 8 years old as of 10/16/19.

If you would like to meet this special dog, please email dogs@lunashouse.org to set up an appointment. Please be patient to hear from us as we are all volunteers and may not be able to respond immediately.

Our volunteers make sure just the right home is chosen for me so they require a home visit to make sure there are no safety issues that could hurt me. You must live within a 50 mile radius of our location in order to be considered.

The adoption fee is $250 and includes vaccines, flea prevention treatment, neuter/spay, and micro chipping. Like us on Facebook!!
