Here's what the humans have to say about me:
AUTUMN is a sweet 8-9 year old apricot 11 lb miniature poodle. If you are interested in giving AUTUMN a "forever home, please complete the adoption application on this site. We are asking for a donation to help us find loving homes for the homeless, helpless special needs dogs.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please read this entire description prior to submitting an application. Applications are considered in the order they are received. You are not considered an applicant until your application is received. I urge you to try completing my online application at ---> https://goo.gl/KSGnZ2
AUTUMN'S PERSONALITY: AUTUMN is a playful, loving girl. She need an stable adult home where she is included in family activities. She seems to walk well on a leash and is doing well in learning to go potty outside, but no guarantees. She loves gentle children.
AUTUMN'S HEALTH: Autumn came to RoRescue from the clinic at our local shelter. They had just removed one eye and her teeth were at an odd angle. Closer examination showed various lumps and bumps on her body. She was not spayed. Our veterinarian cleaned her teeth and told us that some type of trauma had changed the teeth position, but it was not a problem to her health. We also had her spayed and removed the mammary lumps, which came back from the lab as "cancer". Doc said that he got them all and they should not present any more problems. HOWEVER, she has several lumps on the top side of her body, which we have chosen to not have surgically removed because they are attached to muscles and tendons and could cause mobility problems.. We have chosen to let her live out her happy life because the lumps do not bother her. It is purely a "beauty" problem. So, she wears a beautiful sweater to cover the imperfections.
Are you the person to believe in AUTUMN? She may have many years ahead of her; she may not !! One thing we will guarantee, however, she will give you 100% of her love and attention.
All RoRescue dogs are UTD on shots, Micro chipped and spayed/neutered. Full Blood Panels are NOT customarily performed, unless illness indicates or veterinarian suggested.
RoRescue adopts only INDOOR pets. We do NOT adopt to out-of area or out of state locations.
Please be patient with us as we are all volunteers who hold full-time jobs (other than rescuing dogs).
RoRescue's job is to find the best suited home for their rescue dogs habits and personalities. Many times there are multiple GREAT applicants for one dog. This decision is difficult, but it is made with the dog's needs in mind.
