My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wylie is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down here, so he is willing to move north for a good loving forever home.

Wylie was saved from a local small town dog pound. Wylie appears to be a Schnauzer mix around 1 year old and weighing 18 pounds. His coat is coarse mostly grey with brindle highlights. Wylie was very shy and timid in the pound but now that he is in a home environment he is very outgoing, friendly, playful, and active. Wylie loves to play with toys and other dogs. Wylie is crate trained, but needs more house training and obedience training. Wylie is relatively small and must be protected from rough treatment by children or big dogs that can hurt him. He must also be protected from outdoor predators and large raptors that would consider him dinner. Wylie must be in the house as a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash would like a secure fenced yard to run and play.

Wylie is healthy. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He is negative for heartworms and current on heartworm and flea preventative. Wylie has a $500.00 adoption fee that includes ground transport to Rocky Hill, Lisbon, or Danbury CT. He will not be sent north until after he is adopted.
