My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Goliath is a senior boy, maybe 8-10 years old, that found himself in an Ontario shelter after being picked up as a stray. We couldn't see this little guy living long term in a shelter system, so we opted to spring him and get him into a foster home. Now we're looking for someone awesome to adopt him and call him their own.

He was emaciated and in quite rough shape, so presumably was out on his own quite some time. Sadly, nobody came looking for him.

Goliath is your typical Min Pin. He thinks he's a full-sized 100-pound Doberman, but he weighs in under 10 pounds.

He's super sweet and kind. He's a really great dog.

Because of his small size, and fragility, we will not place him in a home that has small children under 12 living with them.

Goliath is currently being fostered with other dogs in the home and is fine with them. He can get a bit bossy with dogs that approach him too quickly.

This boy just wants a lap to curl up in and sleep the day away. Short walks are about all that fill his soul, or a bit of a romp in the backyard.

He's just a really great senior boy looking for a person to call his own.

He is available for adoption in our senior to senior program as well.

FROM HIS FOSTER MOM:

Naturally doesn't respond to his new name & seems not to have been trained - no heel, sit, stay, etc. Walking is fun as he has to sniff EVERYTHING!!!

Care at the front door as he will bolt for freedom.

Sleeps right though the night. I've only once heard him make any noise & that was when I left him downstairs & I was upstairs (he can now handle the stairs) - it felt like a "come & get me" noise!

If either of us is on the couch, he wants to be in our laps. He's sitting on my lap now as I sit at the computer!

Gobbles his food & has to be held while my other 2 eat their meals as he will go for their bowls!
