My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the most adorable duo, Millie and Rosie! These two baby girls are no older than a year and were found together at a good Samaritan’s lake house. She contacted Jillian with Training to the Rescue and now these best buddy beauties are in foster care at Jillian’s house. We aren’t sure they are siblings and definitely not sure of their breeds. We believe they are not bonded so hoping to adopt together but can be separated. Millie and Rosie get along great with other dogs plus Jillian’s cat too! The girls are both easy-going, quiet and affectionate. Millie looks to be a Westie, Cairn Terrier, Shih Tzu and possibly Yorkie mix. Millie is the quietest of the two and is very laid back. Millie is looking forward to a haircut! She is glamorous and athletic. Her tail is always wagging and she loves to be with you. Rosie seems to be a Sheltie, Terrier and Corgi mix. She is slightly more energetic and more of a “scout”- though only barks to alert you and then stops. She is small, active and agile. They each have irresistible good looks and are just as sweet as can be. Millie and Rosie are between 25-27lbs and are headed to the vet this week for spays, vaccinations and their micro-chips. Both girls will make super family dogs and great companions. They are smart, eager to please and know basic commands. The girls are both house-trained and crate trained too. They do need you to help them with their leash manners. For more information or to set up a meet and greet, contact Jillian at trainingtotherescue@gmail.com or to complete an adoption application right away, go to www.raincityrescue.com/adopt. Their adoption fee is $300 each. These lucky, lovely and lovable little girls can’t wait to meet you and get going on their super new lives!
